In 2010, the Monvera website underwent a drastic redesign process. I built the new brand’s initial web presence in 2008 with a simple HTML layout that looks incredibly dated by today’s standards. We knew it was just a starting point, and in 2010 I began drafting mockups of what a new site could look like. Unfortunately, I wasn’t given a budget to hire a web development company, and so I selected a template and built out our new site on WordPress. It was incredibly cost effective, and the resulting site with its deep red, glassy background, brightened up our brand image, and enabled a much more attractive product display. This would be the company’s website for the next 5 years.
